ROAR Future

ROAR FUTURE (Reach Out & Rise) is purpose directed scholarship programme offered by Hong Leong Foundation (HLF) with a focus towards meeting the demands of ‘Jobs of the Future’.

The scholarship is intended to empower young adults with essential skills set to meet talent needs, securing employment and alleviating them to better livelihood.

Together with Knowledgecom, HLF is offering 20 deserving candidates with a scholarship offer to pursue a professional course in Emerging Technology.

Objectives:

  • To provide skills training and certification to individuals in the B40 community, helping them unlock their potential and achieve their career goals.
  • To provide the B40 community with the skills and training they need to secure better jobs and increase their income.

Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate strong desire to pursue the course and other attributes such as leadership qualities; excel in extra- curricular activities and/or sports; and/or who actively engage in community service.

Track 1

Certified Data Science Practitioner

Enrolment Criteria:

  • Must be a Malaysian citizen. (Fresh Graduate, employed, unemployed)
  • Must be at least 20 to 30 years of age
  • Total monthly household income must be RM 5,000 and below.
  • Display genuine financial need to further studies.
  • Persons living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

  • Must be at least 20 – 30 years old.
